Korea At A Glance: Day 1

Day 1 : PG-KL-SEOUL

Myeongdong Cathedral Church

We did not include this in our itinerary due to time constraint but Fate somehow led us to it after a few wrong turns. You should include this because the church is really majestic and beautiful. It’s definitely worth visiting even if you’re not a Christian! :)

Directions to Myeongdong Cathedral Church:

Myeong-dong Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line 4), Exit 8

Walk along Toegyero-gil st. for about 300m and turn right at the intersection.

Walk along Myeongdong-gil st. for 100m to the Catholic Center

Walk up along the center.

Euljiro Ipgu Subway Station (Seoul Subway Line No. 2), Exit 5

Turn right and walk along Myeongdong3-gil st. for 400m

Turn left and walk along Myeongdong-gil st. for 400m to the Catholic Center

Walk up along the center.

Lotte World

We planned this in the afternoon as after doing some research online, the after 4pm entrance fees are cheaper. There was also an additional 20% discount for tourists so we ended up paying only 23,000 won each!

However, if possible do not go on a weekend because the queues are crazy long! Believe it or not, it took us more than an hour to line up for just one ride! We didn’t manage to go on every ride as time were against us. Furthermore because we were there in November, the sun sets really early, around 6pm and it was dark before we knew it! :(

Jamsil Station (Seoul Subway Line 2 & 8), Exit 4.
